Thereare just a lot of things to love about that phone. I think (without much real-world evidence at this point) Pixel 7 does fine on battery life. The tensor g2 chip is pretty good with energy usage. Performance wise, Zenfone 9 wins for Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, and for camera and software support, Pixel 7 wins.
Reasonsto consider the Asus Zenfone 9. 2x better performance in AnTuTu Benchmark (1222K versus 615K) Delivers 25% higher peak brightness (834 against 665 nits) Waterproof body (IP68 classification) 11% higher pixel density (445 vs 402 PPI) Better grip in hands – the body is 7.7 mm narrower. More energy-efficient CPU – Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.
Myonly gripes are the fingerprint scanner and charging time. The fingerprint scanner works ok but is way slower than what was on OP5. Same with charging time, OP5 was charging in around 60 minutes while ZenFone takes around 90-100 minutes for a full charge. The rest of the phone is better, screen, refresh rate, speakers, in-call sound quality etc.
IfI do, it's for 8k footage and 50mp shots in broad daylight. I switched from Pixel 7 to the Zenfon 9 because the Pixels camera software sucks. You can't change anything and most pictures are way to oversharpened with a bad HDR look. SOT is ~3-4h with just texting btw.
Zenfone9 Review - After 1 week from a relatively power user Zenfone 9 I wanted to post my thoughts on the Zenfone 9 after owning it for about a week. I got the 16gb/256gb
. Zenfone9 has better battery life. Less heating up (but still can get warm). Worst camera, especially front facing. Easier to one hand, a little more portable than xperia. Much less slippery, come with a case (cheap but still, if you want to put one on you get it
Enter2022’s ASUS Zenfone 9, a little phone with a 5.9-inch display that tries its best not to scrimp on flagship specifications. Despite a few hardware omissions, we quite liked most of
Zenfone9 screen protector. I purchased a tempered glass screen protector for my Zenfone 9, for some odd reason the screen protector comes with a black border. This black border covers the proximity sensor causing the screen to not dim during phone calls when I put my ear against the earpiece, also the screen does not dim and brighten properly
Screenshotattached. Only 35 mins of Screen On Time since my last charge to 90%, right now sitting at 35% and draining fast. Nothing demanding done other than listening to YouTube music and using maps for a total of 30 mins.
Thingis, the "newest" update available for the zenfone 9 on ASUS website is .142 update which i currently have. My issue is that the .142 update is roughly 7 months behind on
